“I have some news.”She said wriggling in her boots. “I’m going to school!” “Oh how exciting.” Replied beaver. “Oh yes. I have always wanted to go to school!” Said Moose. “Do they have honey?” Asked bear. Emily giggled “No; You can’t come to school with me. School is for children. Don’t worry, I’ll be back at the end of the day to play with all of you.” “I don’t know if I like this school idea. What if she forgets us?” Asked Bear.

About the Book
Emily had always been friends with Bear, Moose, Beaver, and Wolf. During her first week of kindergarten thing's begin to change.
About the Author
I am a preschool teacher and children’s special-needs assistant. I have been telling stories to children in my five years as a teacher in schools, as well as my seven years on the ski hill as an instructor. Working with children has always been a rewarding experience. Children’s expressions and reactions to situations are by far my favourite thing to observe at work. I love taking those moments and incorporating them into my books. I am lucky enough to live in beautiful British Columbia. I ski in the winters and visit wineries on the lake in the summers. I would love to take my stories and share them across Canada and the world.
