About the Book

Daddy, where are you? She cried, Daddy, Where Are You? Trapped in a maze, trying to escape the feelings of a hurting girl’s bondage, a daughter constantly hits roadblocks. Her pain negatively impacts her identity and relationships. Could she be lost because of a father that left her alone? Maybe he didn’t notice her stuck in a corner or understand her need for guidance. Either way, there is no cry like that of a daughter who is lost because her father is missing! In a non-fiction portrayal of the search for her father’s love, Dr. Anntwanique Edwards candidly expresses how her quest could not be satisfied by man. She openly describes her disappointment with her biological and heavenly fathers for not attending to her needs. Her Life experiences are divulged to reveal the purpose of pain. This phenomenal speaker puts her words on a paper to establish God’s ability to release women from the catastrophic danger of dancing with versions of love created by this world. Hear her words, declare the affirmations she shares at the end of each chapter, and experience freedom as never before.

About the Author

Anntwanique Devonne Edwards is a native of Connecticut. After graduating from high school she moved to Gainesville, Florida with her family to assist her mother with taking care of her ailing father and younger twin sisters. Anntwanique began studies at the University of Florida where she has attained several degrees, including an Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology, Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Counselor Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling, and second M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Finally, she concluded her studies at the University of Florida in December 2012, earning her a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Elementary and Secondary Administration. Anntwanique Edwards has always been a servant to the community even in her professional career. Over the years she has been employed as a drug counselor aide, mental health counselor, program coordinator for at-risk youth, and middle/high school guidance counselor before being promoted to her current position as an assistant principal of a public school. Although she has been favored to work in various roles, her greatest desire is to be recognized as a woman of God. Through educational studies and professional positions, Anntwanique has acquired vast knowledge, but never neglected ministry or the responsibilities of her divine calling. For nearly two decades she has faithfully served in ministry while balancing work and school. Anntwanique is a licensed missionary/evangelist for the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). She is the founder of Generation, COGIC, where she served as the pastor for nearly six years before expanding her evangelistic work. In 2005, she started Divine Ministry, Incorporated, a non-profit organization which facilitates workshops, speaking engagements, scholarship opportunities, youth financial literacy training, and provides community service efforts in various cities across the country. Many have been brought to Christ, delivered from spiritual captivity, and healed through the anointing that rests upon her. She is divinely appointed to minister to women and children and faces the challenge of her call despite any adversity that may exist. God has guided her to great places in ministry. She has shared the word in various formats throughout the US, as well as in Jamaica and Africa. She believes Daddy Where Are You? will inspire young women throughout the world. Her goal is to let youth and young adults know that although their father may not meet their expectations, he is not the enemy. In contrast, she powerfully reveals that a father’s harmful actions also have the ability to prosper them in Christ. Anntwanique penned a second book, Where is Thy Faith?, a fictional book inspired by personal events and revelations about our struggles and level of faith in God. In that book she hopes to encourage youth to live for Christ.
