Catching Foxes

About the Book

Based on the Song of Songs 2:15, our beloved Bridegroom is concerned for the foxes that are causing problems in His vineyard of love, and asks his Bride-to-be, if she is willing to catch them. This is a living testimony to some of the foxes I have been led to catch, in my own life, in a hope that it will inspire you to join me in the hunt… as we look together at the words of Jesus, to recognise the foxes that may be nestled comfortably as yet, undetected.

About the Author

Fenella Stevensen… by the time this book is published will have just celebrated 60 yrs. A British citizen, resident in Malta and Missionary to Africa and beyond, teaching in YWAM, Church leaders, congregations and one to one. I have, since the age of five years old, known I would be a missionary in a mud hut in Africa. Thankfully the homes are mostly brick now, at least where I stay – but I have stayed in a Mud House. I became a Born-Again Christian when I was 26 years old in Torquay, and served for some years as a missionary with YWAM. All of this is in my first Book: ‘Rejoice… I Will Fear No Evil’ after which I made a life changing decision that took me into a spiritual wilderness, a distant land of bitterness, anger and rebellion. I thought the wilderness often as the wasted years, but found them to be preparation for the things to come, a learning ground of invaluable lessons. My second Book: ‘Rejoice… The Bricks Have Fallen; I Will Rebuild’ covers the pains and heartaches of this part of my journey, but it also covers the return to ‘My Perfect Valentine’. I have never professed to be a writer, my school grades for English language and literature were below the marks of a Pass… so I could hardly imagine one day I would write one book let alone three. My life is as a single – divorced woman, whose heart and soul desire is to walk in surrendered obedience to the voice and will of the Lord Jesus, and to share the Gospel in all its fullness, which is the Incomparable, Unconditional Love of God, and His Amazing Grace, Who, despite our flaws and weakness, loves us and sets us free from the restraints of this world, and to empower us to soar on Eagles Wings in His Spirit as He transforms us from glory to glory into the image of Christ. I am passionate for Him and for the people He sends me to. The Lord has given me spiritual sons and daughters (Christian and Muslim) and grandchildren in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopa and India. I who have never born a child, is now receiving restoration of all that the locust had eaten… and the prophetic words of Isaiah 54 I am now living them. I am a Bride-to-Be of Christ, whose heart has been completely chased and wooed by the Lover of my Soul, Jesus… and it is my privilege and joy to spend my days sharing of this great and wonderful truth with hearts the Lord has prepared to listen.
