After consulting both the traditional and western doctors she was unable to get the help she needed. However, she has someone in mind, a mystic, philosopher and anthropologist. When Dr. Katrina Van Wyk receives a message that help is needed in Bushbuckridge. She literally leaves everything in the city and goes to this area which is suspected of witchcraft, sorcery and devil worship .There was nothing on earth that could have prepared her for the paranormal, mysterious and supernatural phenomenon. When she arrives the worse awaits. In this adventure something sinister is about to happen, something that could torment Katrina for eternity.

About the Author

I grew up in South Africa, Soshanguve with my mother, twin sister and younger brother. I wrote my first short story at the age of nine doing my third grade in Haakdoorn primary school. I love reading and writing came natural to me. Ever since, I have continued to write both in English and other local languages. By the time I reached high school I wrote my first novel which was approved by one of my teacher Mr. Rammutlwa. I based my writings on personal experiences and daily events. I participated in different activities such as basketball, netball, debate and long distance marathons. My love for writing continued, as I entered numerous writing competitions for essays, poetry and short story. My first break and recognition was for my short story which won for the best category in a writing competition. When I reached University my passionate for writing grew even stronger. I majored in archaeology and anthropology which gave me the desire to discover ancient artefact, knowledge and study human behaviour. My first novel, Lucifer and the church is a controversial but a very enlightening book which touches on different subject. I’m 24 years of age, I enjoy hiking, camping, reading and travelling. I’m currently working on my Master degree in anthropology and also composing a journal on African myths, stories of creation and the ancient knowledge of our ancestors. I’m fascinated by the world we live in and the adventures of Katrina Van Wyk will continue in my next novel.
