Chapter 1 WALKING BY FAITH Hebrews 11:1,6 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." In reality, Faith can only work within the distance between your destination and your hope. Faith is a journey, and the power that drives your will. That is to say, Faith carries you to your hope, and after that, upgraded to faithfulness: the wisdom to stay in faith. Once hope is realized, a test of the substance is levied on you, i.e. a test on your faithfulness becomes a reality. Faithfulness is the attitude of maintaining a relationship with the one that fulfilled your Hope--God. Once our hope is realized, most believers become unfaithful the very moment their hope is fulfilled, forgetting that a man’s want is insatiable or re-occurring. IT IS NATURAL! Remember that all unfaithfulness is a gateway for the enemy and destroyer, and if not checked and quickly closed will result in bad news; sickness, loss, pain, anger and hopelessness. Why? God is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9) Believe it or not, 'A Christ-less life is a life in crises'.

Living Victoriously is a true experience, walking with Christ. It is the un-adulterated employment of God’s word into my daily living. The truth is that God is real, all-powerful and all merciful. He performs for Himself every promise made to man, regardless the shortfall. In this book, we intend to jumpstart the faith of many who think that God have abandoned them. When you begin to see God as your solution to the problem, He will make you see praise as an instrument that enable you download the spiritual blessings and endowments God have prepared for His people, and at the same time empowers you to delete most of the fairy darts of your enemy, and regain strength, authority and power. Meditate on these words for it is true. To get the best out of this book, I suggest that it is read alongside a Bible. The King James Version is used unless identified in parenthesis. As you read, you will master the techniques that equip you for the battle ahead. Also, you will confirm some spiritual truisms, and expand your knowledge on God’s faithfulness. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Peter Okereke Jr. (Pastor) was born to Peter & Beatrice Okereke, in Nigeria. He held a B.Sc degree in geology, and a certificate in offshore / sub-sea drilling operations. Called into the ministry, peter served in various capacities with proven record of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, before his latest promotion as the overseer and senior pastor of The Living Word Ministries Inc.
