About the Book

Earth and Water is a collection of intimate and inspirational poems based on the author’s journey, in no particular order. Each poem describes the author’s thoughts in their most crude and sincere form taken directly from a collection of notes she has kept since age twenty-one. The book focuses on the author’s journey with self- love, self-awareness, self-discovery, consciousness, and love.

About the Author

Since the tender age of eight, I have written words, stored, and collected them with the intention to reflect on them. I told stories, I wrote poetry, I cried, I smiled, but most of all I showed gratitude for my ability to express myself, create, and learn from writing. Now in the midst of all that I am, I expose my heart, mind, and soul.
