Tell Satan Off!

DELIVERANCE, WHO NEEDS IT? DELIVERANCE is a spiritual process of making someone free from the state of limitations, incarcerations or afflictions imposed by a superior authority.... There are so many people in the world today who are bound by the devil but have no awareness they are in Satan's captivity. It was like a vision God gave to me in September 1995 which lead me into the ministry. The Vision of the Monster Sea In that vision I saw a sea filled with people swimming in it. People of various shapes and shades were swimming in this sea; enjoying themselves. In this vision, I saw this sea water turned muddy and concurrently became turbulent, whereas, the wind was not boisterous. The people began to sink one by one for some time until everything became normal again. Those who were not killed in the first holocaust continued to enjoy as if nothing has happened, which really surprised me. It was as if they were drawn to this sea by an irresistible, unseen force. As I continued to look, those who were at this seashore dove into the water not minding what they've just seen happened to those in the sea before them. When these people sink in this sea, they sank with pains and anguish which human words cannot describe. Something was strange with the pains they felt before being swallowed up by this monster sea, I was feeling an infinitesimal part of the pain as I watch them. This vision was like a cycle of events; people will enjoy swimming in the water, just for a while, the water would turn muddy, the sea would become turbulent, the people would be eaten up, everything subsides and it starts all over again. I was in this intermittent pain I was sharing with these people when I heard this Big Voice “Go Rescue Them”. It was a pathetic situation they were in, yet they seemed disillusioned and indifferent. This is the situation of so many people on earth today, obviously they are slaves to the devil yet they are basking in ignorance of their demonic servitude. It is wise to know that the power that will liberate a man from any bondage must be greater than the power that bound him. It is also a good thing to understand that total deliverance is not automatic when one gets born again. Truly, there is a grand deliverance during spiritual rebirth, which is the deliverance from spiritual death. The spirit of a man receives deliverance from death and becomes alive to God at this period... In this chapter, a few situations in which people could find themselves are mentioned, a pointer to the need for deliverance. If at all you find any of the cases mentioned in this chapter related to your experience or that of someone you know, it shows there is a need for deliverance, and it is my prayer that you received enough light to receive your deliverance and for your loved ones in the name of Jesus Christ. CASE 1 Who Needs Deliverance? Someone with a sickness that defies medication – Usually, majority of diseases or ailments originated from demons don't bow to medical treatments. When medicine is administered to such sicknesses, one is literally treating the symptoms and not the disease, for a demon is actually the disease. And even if you get rid of the symptoms the demon will go ahead and cause another sickness you will have to treat again. Sometime in the year 1994, I came from school to collect my monthly allowance from my parent. As I was about going back to school I noticed a wound at the right ankle of one of my sisters. I asked how she got the wound; she told me firewood injured her in a nearby local canteen. I told her to take care of herself. About two months later when I got home, I saw the wound bigger and fresher. This alarmed me, so I questioned her why she did not visit the hospital, unknowingly to me she’d being to two different clinics to get medical care. “Maybe you are going to the quacks, why don’t you go to the state hospital” I advised. The next time I came home, her case had become a real concern to our parents. All medical treatments she’d taken only seemed to be worsening her case. They told me that her wound resurges at every fool moon, and when I looked at her ankle, the wound was round like the moon; red and fresh as if it has never been attended to. I pitied her condition, and for the first time I was afraid that her foot might eventually be amputated if care is not taken, because the wound was six months already. There was a kind of holy anger in me, I took her to my room and started praying on that leg. I did not expect it to be demon based injury after all, it was just a wound. I was just rebuking the devil and praying vigorously in the spirit. Some minutes after, I felt relieved within me, so I stopped praying. At the end of the prayer my sister told me she saw some people in black surrounding a tree, but while I was praying, she saw them fell down. So I told her God has given her the victory. You couldn’t believe it, in less than two weeks, the wound healed up, only the scar remained till today. The only regret I have was that I did not rebuke the devil in time; perhaps my parent wouldn’t have wasted so much money on the wound. The point I am making is this, demon based diseases cannot be cure by medical means. It doesn’t hurt when we pray; it only hurts when we don’t.
