About the Book

Sometimes our thoughts are all we have to keep us going...for beauty lies in disaster. Questions Of A Young Man’s Heart is a collection of poetry inspired by true events in my life. The earliest piece was written in 8th grade and the latest was written in May 2012. Every emotion in this book was inspired. This book is a collection of raw emotion that everybody can relate to. Each poem has been written as a short story to enhance the picture created in the reader’s mind. From anger to sadness, lust to humility, Questions Of A Young Man’s Heart was written and put together in a way to contain something for everybody.

About the Author

Born Joshua Daniel Mendoza on November 8, 1990, Joshua was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 4. He found a passion for writing early on in second grade. At age 11, Joshua won 1st place in his school's Young Author's Contest. By 14, Joshua was cured from his leukemia. He is a big sports fanatic and has learned to live by following his heart and pursuing all that it says. Each day he lives by his favorite scripture of Proverbs 27:19 which says, "As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man." He is now 21 years old and is pursuing a job leading youth in positive direction. Of course writing is something he will continue pursuing...
