The poems within this book have been written to follow the letters of the English alphabet. An alphabet of Prose, Poetry and Passion Each word is a footstep. Each line is a journey. Each poem is a destination reached. May it continue and never stop. That is, the love I have for U The reason for writing the book is simple: The words within are a written expression of my love for you. The message they convey ethereal. The reader is in contract bound. To read, but not reveal. A is Always in this Lexicon. A is at the beginning of all you mean to me. As A is first in all I do and say. A is Always and will forever be. B mine when the leaves begin to fall. B mine when the snow has gone away. Ever far, Ever near. Ever loved, Ever dear.

About the Author
Colin Pitman has already published his first book in a planned series of short stories about the house that talked, a book about a young Scottish boy with autism. Now, in a change from this genre, the author has produced an anthology of poems under the title The Lexicon of Love. The poems are an expression of his own feelings and experiences. The idea to set out the poems in the alphabet/lexicon style developed as he transferred his feelings into words to share with the person he loved.
