When we pulled up at Gram’s house the picnic was in full swing, everyone was enjoying themselves on the two acres of green pastures she hosted in her back yard. All the old folks had been congregating on the deck all day, while I had been doing a gang on ripping and running, making plates, store runs and playing host to all the youngins that attended grandma’s affair. I ain’t tripping though, I love my Nana,she always got my back and this was the one day out of the year she got to be the center of attention so until she said otherwise I’m at her service. Demone! Demone! Nana called signaling me to her. Damn, I spoke to soon, yes Mam I responded by jogging towards her. “Are you tired baby? She asked as she wiped the sweat from my nose. Naw I’m good, did you need something I asked with a little more enthusiasm than I actually had. No baby I want you to meet someone she said as we walked through the crowd of old folks. O hell no! I thought I aint trying to meet no more old folks, but anything for Nana. “Now when they get here I want you to mind your manners and look after them. “They I thought” as she broke into her pre-meeting speech, before I could dwell on it much she had the front door open and assuring the older Women that THEY were in good hands. As they walked into the house I gave them the once over and thought playing host has it’s perks and smiled to myself as Nana introduced us. This is Ms. Montese, Camille and Brittney and this is my Grandson Demone! The girls screamed in unison ya’ll know each other my Nana asked? Staring accusingly I said now I do, but I clueless as to how these two redbones knew me. I mean I done pulled some cold chicks in the lil time I been on this earth, but I ain’t never crossed they path I would’ve remembered. The older one Camille was a thick sista, innocently beautiful face, long thick brown hair, big breast and thick ass legs that would make a nigga mouth water. The younger one Brittney I knew she was trouble from the gate. She was petite, she had gorgeous hair like her sister, nice round ass with a couple of b-cups up top but that’s not the kicker her face was so angelic it was like it was crafted by God himself or Satan either way I had to have her.
