Once upon a time in a town right in the middle, there was a town we all knew—a town named Fiddle. In this known town, there lived a family of three, a family that lived in a tree named Big T. Mama, Papa, and their only tot were so happy together and smiled a whole lot. But when Sass-O-Frask left to go off to school, he acted very differently. He acted very cruel. The neighborhood kids would hide when they would see Sass-O-Frask making his way down the street. Jake-O-Lantern, Al-Bird-O, and Dally the Daisy would shout, “Hurry, hide. He’s coming around!” Portis and Morty, the darling twin pigs, and Star the Starfish would all run to flee.

About the Book
Sass-O-Frask is a caterpillar living with his parents in the town of Fiddle. He enjoys being the town bully and making fun of the other neighborhood children. Sass-O-Frask is shocked when his Pa tells him that they are moving to the town of Sweet Pea. When he arrives at his new school, Sass-O-Frask becomes the one that is mocked. He realizes how wrong it was for him to make others feel so bad. He is even more surprised to see who helps him when he is feeling his lowest. A heartwarming story teaching us that happiness comes from being kind to others. This tale shows our children that acceptance and compassion not only makes those around us joyful, but also creates peace within ourselves.
About the Author
Alexandra McConville is a Registered Nurse that was inspired to write this book after the birth of her son. She currently resides in New York City with her husband, Sean, son, Jake and two dogs, Lexy and Lucius.
