RAIN I close my eyes and listen to the rain pour, listening to the rhythm and the thunder roar. My mind flashes back to similar scenes, when different precipitation somehow intervened, to getting somewhere I needed to be. Link that to life and you will see, that a little bit of rain on your day or dream, doesn't have the power to change a single thing, we are still capable of attaining anything. It is an excuse not to fight through the storm, but rather wait till a new day has dawned, thinking it will be easier the following day or year, no matter what, we must fight through our fears, because the clouds always collect their tears, and pour on us before we have time to find gear. Yet we tough it out and get through our day, not letting the rain affect us in any way. Get through life despite the random rain, find a reason to smile through your pain, because if there is no effort, there is no gain. Wake up ready for what life may throw your way, and do not allow it to easily rain on your parade.

Malka Yagudayev was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her hobbies include playing the piano, guitar, and basketball. She is a diehard New York Knicks fan and enjoys attending their games every opportunity she gets. During her spare time, Malka Yagudayev has been working on her own clothing line, writing and editing for a bi-lingual monthly magazine, and writing songs for artists.
