About the Book

This is the true story of an eleven week trip across the pond, travelling around America, Canada, Alaska and the Caribbean covering 23,500 miles without flying. An amazing experience where we met many lovely people, visited places that could not be seen by plane, with varied terrain and spectacular scenery. There were many times when I thought that it could all go horribly wrong and I look back with immense pride that we achieved such a wonderful vacation. I hope that this book will give inspiration to anyone who has a fear of flying, or a dream which they think they will never realise. Whilst writing it, I have re-lived every moment of our amazing experience and proved that it wasn’t just a dream after all and that nothing is impossible…

About the Author

Chrissie Francis was born in South London, where she grew up and went to school. Her love of travel coupled with a fear of flying has encouraged her to write about her experiences, to inspire others with this fear, that the world is within our reach and nothing is impossible.
