About the Author

Born in Edmonton, Alberta to the parents of Bill and Stella Coombs in 1961. Taken from my parents and placed in Foster Care at the age of Five. Adopted into a home of Sexual, Mental and Psychological Abuse. Found my biological parents in my twenties and now am a survivor who has been blessed. My mother was a violinist as well as a very educated government worker. My Grandfather, worked in the political forum with the likes of Pierre Elliot Trudeau and many other men and women who dedicated their lives to making our world a better place. As immigrants from the Ukraine they dedicated their lives to giving back to Canada for the freedoms they were given while living here. My grandmother was a published Author of Children Books. There talent in music and song was what kept the family strong and delightful to be around. Myself, Writing music, Playing Guitar, Piano, Backup Instruments, Singing backup Harmonies and Solo has become my passion. My first Book FREE TO BE ME - A Story of Survival and Hope was published a few years ago. Being a Certified Life Skills Coach enabled myself to Direct and Coordinate a Group called THE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS for all those who suffered from Bipolar, Depression or any other debilitating Mental Illness. As someone who was forced to live in Dysfunction when in others care it brought me to write my second book. All the credentials in the world would mean nothing to myself if i did not use them for the good of my fellowman.
