“Your kids” was all He had to say. It was so gentle and soft that instantly I was calmed as I was looking into the face of the man I was about to shoot. “My sheep know My voice” is the most beautiful verse to me now. At that very moment I knew that God was talking to me and that I had to hearken. You may experience moments of weakness when the flesh is not willing, but fret not. It is the flesh job to not be willing and war against the spirit. Be encouraged. You are not a failure. If Jesus had a moment of deep distress, are we exempt from this very thing? Of course we are not, but the word tells us to cast our cares onto Him. Do not hold onto them, give them to the Father. Is it fair to say after you have experienced and conquered a moment of weakness you will never travel that path again? There is no certainty in that; you might have the thought again. This by no means discredits your sincerity to obey God and walk out a Christ-like life. It simply means you are in a fleshy body and will experience emotions of the flesh, just do not let it dictate your decision. You are saved just walk in faith. Sometimes one time is just not enough; you may revisit those thoughts a second or even a third time. Regardless of how many times it take you just know God loves you and is willing and waiting to receive you just where you are, fall down upon Him. Hold on to the word. When you have a word from God with all your might do not let it depart from you. If it requires you dying to self and in most cases it does, then so be it. Darkness will come and you may feel that God has forsaken you, but be of good cheer: God is not a liar. Jesus our great Example afforded us a tremendous opportunity to witness regardless of how dark the night gets in our life, call on Him. Matthew 27:45-46, 50 “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 50Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.” Fear not those who look upon you in times of your darkest night, because those too will witness you are truly a child of God, hold on. “A tree is known by the fruit it bears” I refused to have thorns and thistles remain on my tree continuously pricking everyone that reached out. I was determined to have my fruit produced, taste and see how sweet God is. The fruits of the spirit were armed guards around the perimeter of my life eagerly ready to impede all entrance of the enemy. Nothing was allowed entry which was not a fruit and some days there were wounds from the battles. Taking the walk with God and allowing Him to purge/sever all those carnal emotions, thorns away from my life was not always a pretty stroll. A lot of the time it was painful and long days and nights of isolation. Yes, I did say isolation. Have you ever known surgery to be accompanied by friends or love ones? No, they wait during the procedure until you were awake and have went through the recovery room before being allowed to interact with you. It is a time for you, your surgeon and his assistants to escape from all distractions and contaminated areas to a sterilized quiet bright room for concentration on one mission.

About the Book
I am not the subject of the book. The book is an attempt to reveal the journey from being a sinner to becoming a saint, a true authentic child of God. God is the focus in all my endeavors. Although part of my life is reflected to express this laborious achievement, it is not my autobiography, but a testimony. Have you ever been trapped in a place you did not want to be, could not explain where you were or knew where to go? This was day to day for me in this life of darkness. I did not have answers nor did I know anything else existed… I just needed to be free. I was trapped in bondage with a void in my life then one day I heard of Jesus. Thank God He set me free. Giving Him my hand and allowing His light to show me the way, I received salvation and BORN new life. This was the end and the beginning of my life, the end to my life running around on earth doing as I wanted to do, not heeding to God's gentle Voice and unction for my life. And the beginning to the death process of the life that I knew, being strong, independent and my own person. The price has been paid and we are not saved by our works, but casually living through this Christian walk in this dark, dark world will not sustain you. In this book, identify the struggles and trials some will face, but know that you are not walking alone. Your heavenly Father not only walks along side you, but in times of great sorrow He carries you mind, body and soul. Walk in the light of the Lord and no darkness shall come near you.
About the Author
She is strong, confident in whom the Lord has ordained her to be and place God first in her life. She is witty, bright and a total delight to be around. Although she has a serious spin to her, totally about her business, she is no stranger to having a good time in whatever she is doing. Never does she meet a stranger and can relate to people of all calibers. To be in her presence is invigorating and absolutely inspiring. The wisdom she possess and share with others surely comes with amazement to her too at times, but never will she allow you to know. She is somewhat of a recluse when it is appropriate yet still allows for quality moments with love ones. Getting away and emerging her thoughts into the wholesomeness of nature and its beauty really pleases her soul. No you will never find another that resembles her though the world should be filled with the same heavenly glow. She is not perfect but willing to do better; at the end of the day she will let you know.
