About the Book

In the spring of 1948, Erin Hays, a bright young attorney, realizes her ambition of becoming a first rate trial lawyer may never materialize in her uncle's male-dominated law firm. Frustrated , Erin leaves hoping to sort out her future. When a passenger is killed on her night train west, a romantic adventure begins that involves mystery, murder and and a deadly climax with the killers. On her return to the firm, news of her harrowing experience brings an unexpected promotion and the lead for an important case. It appears her time has finally arrived, yet the outcome is not as she expected.

About the Author

While growing up in Kalamazoo Michigan, Mr.Willey spent his early summers traveling by train to visit family in a small rural town in northwest Iowa. After serving in the military, he returned to Kalamazoo and graduated from Western Michigan University. Now retired, he lives with his wife in Wimington. Deleware and has four grown children. This is a second printing of his first novel. He is also the author of: A Way Through the Storm.
