I stand there silently, facing my enemy. I know this cannot be good, but I’m tired of running already. It had been months that I was free of her torture, without any sign up until now. Those months flew by as if they were only days, and I still remembered the first confrontation. That was an eerie and mysterious day. That was the day I began seeing words form in the concrete as if they had some special meaning just for me to see. I never told anybody that I could see words form instantaneously on the floor in front of me, and the floor didn’t have to be concrete it could be wood, or granite, or marble. It didn’t matter as long as it was solid. She stared directly into my eyes, as if she were tying intentionally to make me shiver under my skin.
“So, you are not as easy to catch as you think which is impressive I must say, especially for a human.” The witchy woman said. I assume she’s a witch since she can do things to people and it causes them to see what she wants them to, or act in a manner of her favor. “Why are you after me?” The words choked out of my mouth, stumbling into the air.
“You really think I’m going to make it that easy…you are naive.” Her laughter was shrilling, the beautiful appearance suddenly turned to an ugly evil appearance, and it was then I knew something was up.
“Well then, why don’t you just kill me already if that’s why you’re after me? Stop procrastinating and just do it already!” I pleaded and almost meant it.
“No. That is not why I’m here. That would be completely wasteful.” She was stern and serious as she paced next to me. If she wasn’t going to kill me, then was she going to turn me into some freak of nature? Was she going to kill me after she gets me to do whatever it is she is planning? I took three steps back, and started looking around for an exit out of this trap, only to be let down. She surrounded me, and she wasn’t going to let me by.

“Well, go on,” I said impatiently. I was always an impatient person, even when it came to hearing the bad things. I think it might have to do with something about being in control, even if you really aren’t.
“Okay, but you’re never going to believe me.” He laughed a nervous laugh. I could tell it was hard for him to tell me whatever it was he was going to tell me.
“You didn’t fall because of the treadmill.” Finally he tells me the truth. Or is this the truth? I don’t know who to believe because if he’s lied to me already, why should I believe him now? Maybe Sam will know more about what happened. “There was somebody there that startled you.” He began and looked a little relieved that he could tell me. At that moment, it dawned on me. I knew it wasn’t the treadmill. I knew there was something more. I saw a monster. It was dark, short and creepy. I saw its eyes, they glowed a dark green. I shivered. “You remember don’t you?” He spoke very carefully.
“Yesss…” I said as if I were frozen cold. I swear my heart almost stopped at the thought of the monster.
“What was it? It was so horrifying…” He came closer, and grabbed my hand.
