She jumped into his arms with a flurry of kisses. They slowly drifted down from cloud nine and finish off the piece of heaven that was left on the plate. Moving on to the next thing on the agenda Gabriel took Beauty by the hand and led her to the couch to watch a movie and digest that wonderful meal.
By the middle of the movie the gears had changed. Most of the candles were burned out but there were a few left still flickering in the darkness that surrounded them. They were no longer sitting next to one another on the couch; they were lying on top of one another. Gabriel was on the bottom lying on the couch facing up with one leg on the arm of the chair and the other hanging off with his foot resting on the floor. He was kind of in an awkward position, but it was one that he was willing to compromise with his head on the arm of the couch cocked to the side in order to see the television. Nevertheless he wasn’t really interested in the movie; his focus was on the top of Beauty’s head. Beauty on the other hand was comfortable lying on top of him, facing down with her legs in between his and her head resting on his chest, watching the movie and listening to his heart beat for hers.
With his hands wrapped around her, Gabriel was on the move. He started playing around a little just to get her attention by rubbing her back, stroking her hair, and kissing the top of her head. But she wouldn’t give in. Tempted by the challenge that she presented he started to massage her back, and it was finally getting to her. She was relaxed and ready to go into a coma because he knew the right spots to tend to. Yet the awkward position prevented him from doing his best.
Thinking of different ways to change positions without there being a subtle disturbance in the mood, he started kissing softly on her forehead. He did it in a way that would distract her from the movie to having full attention on him and it was working. She started to raise her head to face him but in a way of a putting up a front to try and sway him. However it worked in his advantage because when she was facing him and ready to say something he caught her with a kiss.
Currently in an all out fight, locking lips as they tongue wrestle. Things were getting a little intense, moving from the couch to the floor while clothes began to disappear. His shirt was torn in the transaction with a few missing buttons. Hers’ was pulled over her head with her hair still amazingly intact.
Ring, Ring, Ring
His cell phone went off and then the house phone. Apparently someone was trying to get in contact with him and it was important. So he picked up the house phone off the end table when it rung again as Beauty continued to kiss at his neck.
“Hello,” there was a long pause then someone finally responded. He chuckled a little because Beauty was now attacking his chest.
“May I speak with Mr. Gabriel Williams?”
“Speaking,” he responded to the strange caller but the tone of the call was urgent and serious, so much that it showed on his face and through his body. Beauty noticed so she stopped.
“What’s wrong?” she asked. He didn’t answer her as the person on the other end began to speak.
“Sorry to disturb you, this is Victory Hospital; we have you down as an emergency contact for…”
