It’s Christmas Eve. Only one more day to go! Percy is so excited. He cannot wait to open his presents. There are big presents and little presents, square presents and presents. He shakes them. He smells them. He hugs them. He loves them! Percy is busting with joy. He tries to peek through a small rip in one of the presents. “Gran? Can I open just one prezzie? Pleeeeeease?” “Presents are to be opened the day of, ” says Gran. “But it’s almost opened. See?” He points to the teensy weensy tiny tear. “No peeking. Birthdays on birthdays. Christmas on Christmas,” Gran reminds him. “Tomorrow is Christmas, you can open your prezzies then.”

About the Book
Percy and the Perpetual Prezzies is a Christmas tale about a curious Percy who’s itching to open his presents on the Eve of Christmas. Despite Gran’s instructions to wait one more day: “Birthdays on birthdays. Christmas on Christmas,” Percy can’t help himself as he sneaks an early peek. One thing leads to another, and before he knows it, Percy has all but destroyed Christmas for his entire family! What will they do now? It’s not until Percy opens one final prezzie – something that Gran tells him is so special that it can be opened any time of the year – that he finds the true meaning of the holidays and the best gift of all!
About the Author
Kariné Marwood and Julie Kim are members of the Writers Guild of Canada and an award-winning writing team of feature film screenplays. PERCY AND THE PERPETUAL PREZZIES is the second book in the Percy series, following PERCY AND THE PERPETUAL OOZE. Marwood & Kim have been best buds since they started writing comedic skits together in high school, and their books are based on true stories from people who inspire them. They both love spending the holidays with their families, whether prezzies are involved or not!
