About the Book

This book is a dialogue to help parents and children learn about the power of choice. Being aware of what lives inside of us, allows our choices and possibilities that don’t seem possible otherwise. Imagine if you could choose between peace and anger, between depression and joy. What would we choose if we were free to choose. It is through awareness of ourselves we discover that we really are free to choose. So ask yourself what characters stop you from being how you want to be in life?

About the Author

Hunter Bullivant was 5 when she wrote The Things In Me and later wrote The Owl and Me and then The Monster in Me with the help of her Dad. Her journey into self awareness has inspired her to help others understand that they are ultimately at choice in how they feel and in how they see the world. She plans on completing the series and has spoke and shared about her book at many elementary schools around the province of Alberta. Darin Bullivant is a certified elementary teacher and has been teaching and working with children for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Landmark Education and has co-authored several books on awareness, self esteem, and self responsibility. Presently he is teaching at an innovative school mentoring and coaching children on life skills and sport as a means to leading an amazing life. He has written a series of books to highlight the responsibility of children and parents to look after their minds and bodies and develop long lasting, loving relationships with themselves, their families and friends, and their environment. He also founded a website called www.daretodreamextreme.com where he creates inspirational projects that benefit local charities. He recently completed The Baja 500, the Trans-Rockies Mountain bike race, the Victoria Marathon and the Baja 1000. His goal is to raise $20,000 for The Children's Wish Foundation and proceeds from the Things In Me Book series will go towards that goal.
