About the Author

Dave, a veteran of the Korean Era, USARPAC, 25th Infantry, (Tropical Lightening Division) Captain, USAR, was later employed at the U.S. Treasury Department (IRS). Retiring from the IRS, in 1974, he worked for the State of Arkansas (Special Investigations Unit) from which he retired in 2009.) Dave, a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and ROTC Class of 1951-1953, Is married to his wife of 55 years, Effie Crump-Moody. He and his wife, Effie, formerly self-employed, both now retired, have three daughters, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Dave and Effie have worked 55 years as bi-vocational workers for the Southern Baptist Convention.
