About the Book

Fantasy Escape is a coloring book for all ages including young adults and people who enjoy a more detailed coloring project. This book provides a variety of mythical creatures that are “outlined” for anyone to add their own artistic style. As they fill the pictures with shades of color, it allows each artist to create their own unique fantasy within every page.

About the Author

Ever since I could hold a crayon I expressed my artistic passion. Art was my encouragement, it gave me strength when I was in a place I wasn't familiar, and it gave me something to be very proud of. The need for my art was obvious to all my teachers, and I mean all my teachers from kindergarten through high school. It was natural for them to allow me to draw when time allowed it in class and they appreciated so much of what I could express on paper. I won art contests my art teacher's signed me up to compete in, and I have a piece of art on permanent display in the high school where I graduated. The fantasy world has been my passion for creating creatures. My favorite for many years was variations of the wolf. I grew up with a sketch book always close by, then one day my little sister suggested I create a coloring book of my drawings, because her girlfriends always wanted me to draw them something or to color the pictures in my sketchbook. I grew up in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis, where I live today. I hope people of all ages will enjoy my drawings and continue to do so because I will never stop creating. ~ Jaclyn Smith
