...Finally, his cage stopped, as it slammed against a tree. Just then, the door of his cage swung wide open and Keiko fell out! He opened his eyes and thought…Wow!!! What a ride!!! He stood up, his legs feeling wobbly. He dusted off his fur and looking all around, he saw the forest overflowing with tall trees. Thoughts of swinging and playing filled his mind. Suddenly, he stopped and thought…, who lives in these woods. He decided to walk into the forest to investigate.

About the Book
Everyone shares one thing in common. We are all different from each other and it is our diversity, which makes each person unique. "Keiko the Koala" is so much more than a book. This exciting story is immediately rewarding to children, as they hear about the adventure of a koala bear, who finds himself lost in the forest. As he meets other animals, he quickly learns that he is different from other bears. You feel the anticipation as Keiko searches for a way out of the forest. About the Author
Jill Ann Storti enjoys writing and spending time with her family. She shares her life with her husband and their son, in Greenville, SC. As a mother of a child born 10 ½ weeks premature, Jill has immersed herself in issues related to child development. The same year her son was born, Jill took on a Chair position for the annual March of Dimes Black Tie event. Her family was honored to be the Ambassador Family, which gave her the opportunity to share her story. Today, Jill volunteers for the March of Dimes to further their mission of reducing the incidence of premature child births and promoting healthy babies. Jill's vision is that parents and educational professionals will find her stories valuable when teaching children life's important lessons in a loving and nurturing manner. Jill had the wonderful opportunity to work on this book with her dad, Robert Hartenstine. He is a talented artist, who brought Keiko to life with his illustrations. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and the Hussian School of Commercial Art in Philadelphia, PA. He served in the United States Air Force, as an illustrator. He went on to pursue a career in Commercial Art. For the past forty years, he has been successful working in the Graphic Arts Industry. He currently lives in Williamsport, PA, where he continues to paint and draw.
