Gayedannielle has been writing since she was 7, In lieu of her highschool days at Southwest dekalb in Lithonia, Georgia, she knew where she was headed. Entering numorous contest and just sharing her poetry with her church,family and friends. In 2000 her poem "A Colored Sparrow" was published in A Chamber of Dreams in care of poetry.com in owings mills, md. Continuing her education and speaking to young people in her daily life, has become an inspiration to her daughter. A few years ago when Gayedannielle was ill her daughter Felisha wrote a paper in school about how her mom was her inspiration. Living life in Willingboro Nj with her family has been a long journey of love, pain and emotions,and she stands firm as a virtuous woman to her companion and friend, Lorenza B. Marshall. I thank God, my dad and granny for always telling me I can be who Jesus wants me to be. I thank my mom for giving me protection as a mother should. Thanks to all who have been by my side on this long awaited journey. I give special thanks to my twin sister Ann Marie, I love you all.
