His Shame, My Fame

The book HIS SHAME MY FAME is in six chapters and opened with a look into the problem of the fall of the first man and its grievous consequences and various attempts made in the Old covenant for restoration. The first chapter traced Jesus through the books of the Bible right from Genesis. It highlighted the various attempts made by the devil to stop him from actualising the redemptive program.. It was prophetically revealed that the battles were to come but in all, Jesus Christ came out victorious for our benefit. The second chapter looked at the various humiliations which Jesus Christ faced in order to secure freedom for mankind and turn every shame to fame. Each stage of humiliation has its own benefits. This chapter provides hope for all those facing various forms of humiliations. The third chapter took a holistic approach to the issue of the Cross and the crown. Attempt was made to look at what it meant by dying the death of the Cross. Jesus made seven outstanding statements on the cross and there are lessons to be learnt from them. Every Christian must know them. In the forth chapter the issue of reconciliation and adoption into God’s family was extensively discussed. Our right and privileges as member of God’s family can be seen in this chapter. This will be of special help to those having identity crises because of the circumstances of their birth. Chapter five looked into the commission of the Christian with power. Jesus knew that we need power to contend with the hostilities of the enemy. There is no Christianity without power. Finally in chapter six, the book discussed the issue of our sonship in the house of God. Who are the sons and what are their qualifications. The book ended with a meditation and an invitation to Salvation.
