Sonya Moore is an early childhood educator, reading specialist, and author. Sonya has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Reading Instruction. She enjoys teaching children the fundamentals of reading and developing a love for reading. She strongly encourages reading to students of all ages. Sonya believes that children should have many opportunities for reading and read alouds. Creating time for reading is a good way to bond with children of all ages. She is very fortunate to be able to work with students, parents, and teachers in helping children become successful in school.

About the Illustrator

Andrée Fitzgerald Chambers grew up on the south side of Chicago, Illinois with his father, mother and older brother. He started drawing at the tender age of four. Andrée received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising and Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago, Illinois. Aside from drawing and painting, his other interest including sculpting, photography, and Science Fiction.
