We make a u-turn and head west to our country that begins with the letter Uu, The United States of America. The United States is unbounded and unbelievable. The very unique thing about the United States is that the first people to live there were different tribes of Native American Indians. The United States is a combination of 50 states. We traveled to the state that begins with the letter Uu, Utah. There we found the Ute Indian Tribe. We met Uolimo and Uova. They were very nice and welcoming to us. We made a unanimous decision to take a walk up the mountain using an unusual path. We were totally unaware of what was ahead. Uolimo and Uova told us that they saw an ultrasonic UFO two nights ago in the sky. They said it was the most ultimate sight ever and it was ultraviolet. It seemed like the path was unending and we all began to feel uncomfortable, so we turned around and went back to camp. It began to rain on our way back, so we put up our umbrellas and wished that we all had a unicycle to ride, but we knew that was as unbelievable as seeing a unicorn. We said we were so sad to leave so soon, but our journey must continue. We told our two friends that we had the best time ever and for sure we would return to Utah to visit, but we were uncertain exactly when.

About the Book
Around the World from A to Z is an exciting adventure book. The reader will be guided by children to 26 different amazing countries. The children in the book will travel on animals, by plane, train, and boat to reach these countries and meet new friends in all 26 countries. The children will also learn about different types of land and bodies of water, big and small. This will be an interesting, fun, and educational way for children to learn about and see how big the world actually is, outside of their own environment. As they visit each country they will be exposed to 26 different and unique ways of everyday living, all adding to expanding their knowledge of the planet they live on. As the children continue on with their travels they will be able to observe how people in other lands dress differently, live differently, and look differently, by seeing that people come in all shades of skin colors, distinctive facial features, and different hair textures. The book, Around the World from A to Z, is a fun way to use the alphabet as a tool, to guide all children from all around the world to learn about these differences. Beginning with the first stop in Argentina, all the way to the last stop inZimbabwee, the children will witness many different animals, taste yummy treats, and be captivated by the wonders of other countries. Around the World from A to Z is a book for the whole family to enjoy.
About the Author
Karen A. Jones is a 63 year old mother of four and grandmother of eight. Karen was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. A recipient of an associate degree in applied science and is currently attending Florida Atlantic University acquiring her Bachelors of social work degree. Karen worked in elementary schools for fifteen years until she retired.
