About the Book

The act of creating art and writing poetry has helped heal their broken hearts. This book offers an intimate portrait of two women, one from the East and one from the West. One uses art while the other uses literature to express their spiritual journeys. You'll be touched by this poignant glimpse into their very souls.

Somewhere in Between, these women from very different cultures, backgrounds and religions, were brought together by one truth—that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Savior of the world. Ponder their words in your heart and meditate on the inspirational artwork to learn their shared stories of adventure, anguish, self-discovery and finally, freedom that comes from the love of Jesus Christ.

It is their prayer that the Truth will become part of your life and the lives of your children and family. These women of faith know from experience that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will transform your heart and enable you to live peacefully and joyfully in any circumstance—in freedom that comes only from complete abandonment to Him.

God’s promises are the greatest power we have and we are each created in His image. He is love and we all need to love and be loved. May each of you discover the Truth and meet Him Somewhere in Between. To God Be the Glory!

About the Author

Born in Keelung, Taiwan, C.L. Dawn Yang came to the United States to find her dream. She spent most of her years in Los Angeles where she earned a B.A. degree in Arts & Sciences. Her first personal Art show was in Dallas, Texas in 1996, then, she “lost herself in 11 years of marriage”. Art is her passion. Color, abstract drawing and painting are her private languages. Through her life experiences, Dawn has learned that a woman should always defend her freedom. Her mission is to use her artwork to show the world that she has nothing without Almighty God. Visit Dawn at “Dawn’s World; the Gift of the Spirit”, http://cldawnyang.blogspot.com or Dawn’s Fine Art Studio downtown Rogersville, Alabama.

Growing up in the South, Lisa Logan Rich was taught to “stuff it”, “put a face on it”, to hide her true feelings - even when her heart was breaking. For years, she asked God, how to use her experiences of joy and suffering, triumph and pain, to help ease the burdens of other women. Her answer came in the form of simple verses and writing. Lisa lives each day to give God the glory for seeing her safely and joyfully through this journey. She is a wife of 27 years, mother of 3 and works as a Professor of Information Systems at Athens State University in Athens, Alabama.
