About the Book
The Ghost Righter’s Words from the Dark Side is a collection of poems reflecting the author’s long struggle with addiction, self doubt and depression. Two major events have shaped Jonathan Bytautas’ life. The death of his brother, Jesse, and the birth of his son, Jonathan, stand out as life-changing events. Jesse’s death and its impact on Jonathan is reflected in the poem “R.I.P.” Any hope for the future is found in the dreams and expectations he has for his son, Jonathan, Jr. The author writes under the Pen Name of The Ghost- Righter. It is a fitting Pen Name for the author hopes that his words will be heard and those hearing the words will learn from his journey and avoid the mistakes that he has made. If one person changes his or her path on life’s journey for the good, the poems will have served their purpose.
