Jennifer’s mom was a breast cancer survivor for nearly 6 years and died of esophageal cancer on September 9, 2007.  In honor and memory of her mom’s unconditional love, effervescent life and extraordinary strength Jennifer will be donating 50% of the proceeds from “With You Forever” to Tomorrow’s Rainbow, Inc. for children suffering the loss of a parent and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Center for cancer treatment and research.  You can learn more about Jennifer on her website at www.healtheintentions.com

About the Author

Jennifer was taught to move forward during life's challenges and during the past decade has realized a great deal about her character and strength as a woman.  In 2005, Jennifer was told she was unable to conceive.  Following unsuccessful fertility treatments, in December 2006, her mom was diagnosed with cancer. Jennifer stopped everything to travel with her parents for specialized medical treatment. February 2007, Jennifer became pregnant, shocked, but elated; her focus remained on her mom battling cancer for the second time. September 2007, Jennifer’s mom died at age 56 and her son was born November 2007. Never did she imagine in the same breath she would have to say good-bye to her mom while becoming a new mom herself. March 2009, Jennifer’s husband was laid off. She sold their home, moved their son and dog to a rental while he secured a job in China following 14 months of unemployment.  “Life moving forward”, she says.

Jennifer wrote “With You Forever” for her mom to her grandchildren. She believed it was important that they know their Grandma and the wisdom she so often spoke. Jennifer attributes her positive outlook and approach to life to her mother’s influence and long girl talks as far back as she can remember.

Jennifer has a master’s degree in psychology and spent 10 years as a child advocate.  Experience has taught her to view life through different lenses.  Her mission…to live a healthier, well-balanced life and to teach this way of life to her son.  Today, Jennifer’s back in school adding certified health coach to her experience while supporting and inspiring others. She believes everything happens for a reason, even when it hurts. Life is full of lessons and the earlier we learn, understand and practice these lessons, the better prepared we can be.
