About the Author

Richard A. Doré was born and reared in Louisiana. At the age of sixteen he was the victim of a drunk driving car accident, which left him a quadriplegic. Richard’s passion for life and love prevailed in his words. Though he could not walk physically his words took him to places that people only dream of. Richard’s poetry has been published and featured in many publications, and won him many awards along the way. Richard’s legacy and passion for life and love continues to shine through his beautiful words.
