"The kingdom of God is not coming by our careful observation, nor will people be able to say, “Here it is,” or “There it is.” The kingdom of God is within us, it is among us now. When I say we should pray for His kingdom to come, I am not suggesting that we should look for it to come from up above our heads. I am saying that it is time for it to be manifested outside of us and all around us. We need to pray that God will give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that we may know him better, and that we may know what we truly possess. A revelation of Him, will leave us wanting for nothing else, but more of Him! Praying also that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened in order that we may know the hope of His calling, and the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints."

About the Author
Johnny Holmes is a Community Activist who has worked as a Youth Counsellor with the Cook County Juvenile Center for almost 11 years. He also has experience working with the Black McDonald's Operator's Association as a facilitator for their program "A Write to Achieve". He and his family attended Miracle Revival Center church where they served diligently for more than 20 years. He is also the author of a poetry book entitled "Straight from the Heart, from Troubles to Triumphs". Helping others understand their purpose and inspiring them to release their potential is his major point of focus.
