In this game of Poetry, diversity is defined Each distinct individual is able to unwind Spit forth a lyric, filled with hidden trinkets Unleashed, untamed, unabridged...just think it The mind of a Poet is vast, a wealth of hidden treasure Able to take you places, be it distance or sultry pleasure One can travel to the new planet tucked behind the earth; Or plot a path for love, from conception to a child’s birth. Many Poets do what they do, to put their talents on display Eloquent speech, swollen words, a subtle in mystic aray My friends are magnificent to me, but I think they already know it None can be called ordinary, listed among the “Master Poetz I’m sure as they read this; it will bring a smirk to their faces Hope this will suffice, until I can give my many embraces Thanks guys for being one of few, that I can call my friend And blessing me with balms of poetry, to fill and heal from within

About the Book
Collage is a collection of poems that cater to those who don’t usually care to read poetry, those who think poetry is only a bunch of word coupled together on pages in a book read by uncanny people and makes no sense at all. Poetry has taken its second wind and is no longer a compilation of twisted words that leaves the reader with a mental overload and smoke spewing from their ears. “Collage” is just as the name implies, a genre of poems by American and Ghanaian poets that covers an insurmountable range of topics, from the country life the author growing up as a child in Mississippi to the flavor filled verses and anecdotes of Ghanaian Poets or Poetess'. The Author is sure that this book will not offend with the Poet’s pen, but be a world wide treat that is very unique; offering inspiration, revelation, and stimulation to it's diverse readers.
About the Author
Mandy Fields, Koranteng was born in Natchez, Mississippi, the last child of John Lanus and Loubertha Fields, Lanus. Being the youngest of ten children, she often felt disliked and rejected. Being alienated by her sibling, Mandy sought quiet places where here imagination which had become her lone friend and playmate could recant onto paper her enumerable thoughts in poetic form. God blessed her to travel to Ghana, West Africa in 2008 where she met Isaac Owusu Koranteng, they married and now resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her trip to Ghana greatly changed her outlook on the entire continent and has enable her to accumulate many friends there, as well as inspired her to organize a group of Poets called "The Master Poetz' whose works will be featured in this book. Mandy is a born again Christian who believes in the Holy Trinity and God's written word and our lives should reflect out beliefs.
