Within our congregations there are those who may not be suffering from physical hurt, but are in a dry place in their ministries, unable to see the favor of God; they are praying, but it seems that God has turned a deaf ear to their cry; the prophet has prophesied victory, but they feel that they are still in the midst of a battle; they have no joy, power, or assurance that God cares, but this book will assure you that no matter how you feel, you can speak a word and be healed; just speak over yourself, encourage yourself in the Lord. There are believers in ministry who suffer with conditions that affect their spiritual development and their personal relationships (hidden conditions stimulated by spiritual weaknesses and social immorality.) Resentment is an emotion that causes one to feel angry and bitter about a matter or because of a situation; it makes one unwillingness to give up what one perceives as a right for wrong; this unwillingness to be falsely accused often results in an intense desire to get even. Suffering is not the curse of a few believers; it is the badge of every believer, regardless of his or her station or calling. “If we don't suffer with Him we can not reign with Him.

About the Book
This book is about the many hurts experienced in ministry hidden behind praise and exhalation; its intent is to enlighten the fellowship of the unconscious conditioning we perceive or as some would identify as generational curses and how they affect the spiritual growth of the believer. This book will deal with: Resentments, Unholy Attractions, Suffering, the Importance of Faith, Unfruitfulness and the like.
About the Author
Bishop Leroy C.E. Newman has been pastor of The Friendly Church of the Apostolic Faith and General Overseer of Friendly Church Ministries International for 39 years and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in sociology and a Master's and PhD in the sociology of religion. He is a graduate of Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida; Born to share croppers, Bishop Newman work of the farm with his grandparents, John and Rosa Lee; He is the older of 11brothers and sisters; he owes his ministry development to his Aunt Millie who introduced him to Christ. Bishop is married with 3 children of his own: Israel, Tramain, and Laroi; his wife, Mattie is an accomplished soloist who has 2 recordings of her own. In addition to ministry Bishop Newman is Vice President of Educational Services at Global Business Institute where he has served for 28 years. Bishop believes that "Commitment, Dedication, and Devotion turns vision into reality and that God will never take you anywhere where you are forced to retreat.
