After leaving the snake, I saw a rhinoceros! The rhinoceros was busy eating. This gave me a chance to hide behind a tree. From here, I could wait for an opportunity to take some pictures.

Imagine This . . . a Safari! is about Katie. Katie's a five-year-old girl, who loves to use her imagination for adventures everywhere she goes. In this adventure, Katie goes outside to her backyard. Here, she discovers an assortment of wild animals: gazelles, lions, snakes, a gorilla, giraffe and even a rhinoceros! Come and join Katie for an adventure!
About the Author
Darcy was born in Conrad, Montana where she grew up on a dairy farm with her five siblings. Her parents, Jim and Valerie, taught their children the value of hard work. Growing up, Darcy enjoyed numerous school activities. She was active in music, art, sports, and drama. While in college, she enjoyed dance, swimming and equine classes. In 1989, she graduated from college with a 3-year associate degree in Interior Design. Her education prepared her to work with other people and strengthened her business ethics. After receiving her degree, she worked with the mentally handicapped and then volunteered to work 18 months as a missionary for her church. All of these different experiences taught her a great deal of patience and understanding. They also prepared Darcy for the next chapter in her life, being a wife and a mother. Becoming a mother has fuel her life-long aspirations of writing children’s books. Darcy was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) shortly after her first child was born, All her life Darcy has been independent and now MS has given her daily challenges to conquer. The love and support of her husband and children have kept Darcy smiling and given her the will to succeed. Darcy loves being a wife and a mother and as such, one of her most cherished memories of motherhood is reading her stories to her own children. Darcy is now having these stories published so that the rest of the world can enjoy them, too.
