About the Book

This book of poetry is simply a collection of life's experiences-it started out as a Journal of my life.And God presented back to me as a a beautiful book of poetry! This collection of poems is a mixture of the season's in life. My hope is that each person that reads this book will find something they may be able to relate to-And come to realize life has it's up's and down's-but what doesn't break us will only make us will make us stronger

About the Author

Author;Born Alvera Debra Senior-In New Haven,CT, Now reside in Westchester county,N.Y with her husband Elder:Robert Woodson.JR. She been truly bless to have a mother whom believe in nourishing her children with knowledge & wisdom. It's was she whom introduce Alvera to poetry,at the early age of eight-She loved it! She was hooked,by age twelve she started to write,not really knowing or- understanding what she was doing! She just knew when she put a pen in her hand and allow it to touch down onto a piece of paper-she was in her comfort zone,-safety place-where nothing! or no one could touch her.

Reading and writting poetry became such a part of her"It's like music to my soul and illuminating to my mind"-So much so that she attended South Central Commmunity college in New Haven,CT.Taken liberal Arts -open the window of poetry reading for her and there is where she realize and came to except poetry was in her.It was all good!

In 2006 she submitted a piece of her poetry [Life]and was awarded Editor's Choice Award from the International Library of Poetry.This was like striking a match within her it gave her the confidence to step out on her faith and put a book of poetry together and as she embark on this journey.There were times she had to encourage herself!she had to walk by faith and not by sight[2Corinth.5:9] And now she looks back over the time and can only say "It was all good" Everything is perfect when done in God's times! she now know:[Phillipp.4 :13] I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
