About the Book

The only and the most important fact about writing this book are to share my views about understanding silence. Understanding silence is truth of life. By understanding varied degrees of silence my thought process changed and it changed for good. We can definitely enrich our lives by proper thought process.

The book is in the form of a dialogue between me and a foreign traveller who visited India. The foreign traveller had told me that he is in search of truth and, therefore, visited India several times.

Philosophy is dull if it is long but it becomes interesting if it is short and, for this reason this book is so short. Even though it is short, I feel it is complete in whatever sense I wanted it. One may not require more than 90 minutes reading this book. It is meant for all and my hope is you will definitely like this book. I expect your sincere comments at understandingsilence@gmail.com.

About the Author

I could with the blessings of The Almighty and my mother could, decode the top secret early in my life, and the secret is: `there cannot be anything more constructive and pleasurable than thinking'. I was definitely a reader but more than a reader I was a thinker all the time. Thinking is my passion and I found it paying all the time under all the circumstances. I am of the firm opinion that with proper thinking, any matter howsoever complicated, will remain unsolved.

Understanding of quest through logical reasoning is philosophy according to me. And when the logical reasoning is near perfection then that philosophy becomes immensely useful. Such philosophy becomes inevitable and serves as the basis for thought process. The Vedanta philosophy falls in this category. Progress without organized thought process is impossible and without progress there is no life. What is thought process then? I have tried my level best to find the answer in “Understanding Silence”.

I never thought I would write a book one day and become an author. It was a pleasure to write this book.

Thanking you for reading this book.

Kind Regards,
