About the Author

Lincoln Allen, has been a Cook and has been a food writer and editor for many years, contributing articles and recipes to a number of food magazines and food shows.

He also has extensive knowledge of cooking of all kinds but has a special interest in ethnic cuisines Caribbean and Soul Food.

Lincoln  comes from Manchester, Jamaica and migrated to Canada in the early 70’s, and has spent months visiting various islands, enjoying the opportunity to discover the delights of Caribbean  food.

Over the years his interest has developed into a specialty and he has built up a comprehensive collection of authentic island and soul food recipes.
