Predestined I refuse to let my yesterday determine my tomorrow I refuse to get comfortable dwelling in sorrow I will no longer allow hurt and pain For I have the right, to choose who will reign I do not have to allow abuse, and stress For if I hold on I am sure I can pass this test No longer will I wallow in guilt in shame But always call upon Jesus’ name I will not allow the enemy any space But I will continue to read my word, fast, pray, and seek God’s face No man can tell me my beginning nor my end For the word of God tells me it’s already been written I am God’s predestined. Every dream, every goal that I have set out to attain Has already been accomplished and stamped “Approved” in Jesus name I can have, be, and do anything I ever desired to be Because God said in His word that “I can do All Things through Christ who strengthens me.” A doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, a singer or a reverend The way has already been made I am God’s predestined God knows that I will stumble, he has already factored in that I may fall But just because I mess up doesn’t mean that I’m not called On my journey I’ve met pain, discouragement and despair But I will get to where I am going because God says I’m already there They are just road blocks set up to turn me around But I am determined to reach my destiny, my purpose, my crown So I will continue to push forward, my suggestion is that you do the same. For I am a child of God and predestined is my name

LaMeshia “So Melodic” Shaw-Tanimowo LaMeshia Shaw-Tanimowo was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, and has been singing, writing poetry, songs, and short stories since her youth. Her creative style is like no other. Her written words are both profound and inspirational. Vocally she brings a heavy dose of traditional and contemporary gospel, combined with the soulful sound of blues, and neo soul, which creates a powerful harmonious tone that, will both soothe you and send chills down your spine. When being described by others, they would often say she was melodious or sounded “so melodic,” and from that she adapted to the nickname “So Melodic.” She currently resides in Georgia with her husband and servers as Founder and CEO of So Melodic Enterprises. LaMeshia is more than a psalmist and a poet and is currently working on her first novel “The Million Dollar Secret” and a life coaching book entitled “Overcoming Betrayal,” as well as Gospel and spoken word cd’s. Mrs. Tanimowo has just begun what seems to be a promising career. There is no doubt that she is a talented vocalist and writer. However she is also a dynamic actress and speaker. With so many gifts and talents, there is no telling what she will do next. When asked to describe herself, she humbly says with a smile “Predestined!”
