About the Author

Diedra is a 36 year old single mother living in Texas, trying to stretch her paycheck between paydays.  As a single parent, she received her degree from the 'University of Hard Knocks' and considers herself better for it. She was aware of green issues for many years, however, it became a burning issue after the birth of her son in 2005.  She served just under 10 years in the U. S. Army on three continents and continues to work closely with the military.
