"Why did Karen die?" Lily asked her Mama. Mama replied, "Sometimes animals get sick and we do not know why. God loves all creatures so He took Karen to heaven to be with Him." "When will she come back from heaven?" Lily asked. "Karen cannot come back from heaven. She needs to stay in heaven with God. She is happy there and she is not sick anymore." Mama told her. "Who will feed my goldfish?" Lily asked , concern clouding her little face. "God will feed Karen for you sweetheart." Mama replied, hugging Lily tight.

About the Book
"Who Will Feed My Goldfish?" is the story of a young girl who must face two different loses in her life; the loss of a beloved pet and the loss of a cherished younger brother. Lily finds that sometimes we do not always have answers to our questions. She discovers there is a place all creatures go after death where we are happy and have all we need; a place where we live with God. Lily learns that facing loss and expressing her grief are the first steps to healing her heart.
About the Author
The author lives in Ohio with her husband and two children, a daughter age 7 and a son age 5. Their late son would be 3 years old. "Who Will Feed My Goldfish?" is based on their family's personal experiences and conversations.
