CLUMSY I made a promise not to fall in love with anyone anymore, But that was before you came and knocked on my door. I tripped into spending time with someone I barely knew. I was smiling, enjoying myself, and having fun with you. I slipped into a relationship before I could catch myself. My heart and soul were dusted off and taken from the shelf. The sun was shining once again on my dark, little world. The sand and grit that was my heart evolved into a pearl. My faith in love was restored and I’ve learned to love again. I’ve found happiness with a stranger who’s become my best friend. I’ve learned to trust another and she’s put her faith in me. We’ve grown together as one and refuse to live separately. Her smile lights up my heart, her eyes hold my soul. What was once shattered, her love has made whole. I never realized my loneliness until she came into my life And I’ll be more than happy to make her my wife. I make her complete while she makes me whole. I feed her spiritually and she shelters my heart from the cold. I’ve fallen in love again and it’s the greatest I’ve ever known. Who would’ve thought happiness could be found by being accident-prone?
