She was running through Sicklewood Forsest as fast as she could, the soles of her feet were bleeding, her arms and legs were scratched from the bramble bushes she had to scurry through to hide from Luchouise. Her thoughts were wandering all over the place. She tried to remember what had happened to her in that wooden cabin, she tried to remember how she escaped. The only fragment that kept returning to her was the moment she ran from the bed and out of the cabin.
Andrea did not know were she was running to. All that she knew was that she had to get out of the forest - get away from the horrors that were taking place here. As she was running, Andrea constantly looked behind her to make sure she was not being followed. Suddenly she tripped over a branch lying amongst the leaves and rubble from the trees; She was trembling with coldness and fear. She lay there a moment sprawled out across the branch trying to catch her breath.
I have got to get up, I have to get up and keep running before they catch me, she thought.
First it started as a low growl, then luder as it drew closer to her. Andrea did not want to see what was leaning over her. She was hoping it did not notice her, but how could you not notice a naked woman lying face down in the grass. It sniffed loudly as Andrea felt its wet, cold, slimy, nose against her flesh.
"Oh my god, it's true, the other girls were right, it must be one of the beasts, that guard the borders of the forest, I'm going to die and I don't want to die."
She began to panic.
The Eggorin mounted her. She felt its
prickly, thick fur rubbing against her
naked skin. Andrea stared shaking
violently. With a high pitched sound.
the beast started howling for its mates.
It grabbed a handful of Andrea's
mousey-blonde hair and pulled her
head off the ground. She quickly
closed her eyes, not wanting to see the
pack of Eggorins bounding towards
her. Andrea estimated that there must
have been at least six or seven of
them surrounding her. A lot of growling
and grunting came from these beast's.
They were talking to each other, and
their prey could guess what about.

Gypsy is a beautiful, head strong, young woman of 19 who finds herself on a life altering, self discovering journey. It all starts when she returns home from Spring Meadow College. As her 20th birthday draws near her life starts spinning out of control when she learns the true identity of her family, which leads her down pathways to disscover different worlds that co-exist with her own that she could never of been able to imagine in her wildest dreams or deepest darkest nightmares.
About the Author
Jaye L Harkness was brought up by her Grandmother in a little seaside town on the coast of Devon. Through her school and college life she became aware of the pagan religion known as Witchcraft. As she discovered the knowledge of the pagan faith gradually over the years, she became a practising follower of the craft. Meeting her husband, Liam, at college, she decided to move to Somerset with him, and together they have two beautiful children. It was during this time she decided to pursue her childhood dream and become a writter. She started writing Born A Witch because she wanted to write a book about the subject she is intrested in, and so has included some witchcraft rituals and spells that she has embelleshed to make them more intresting for the reader. She wrote the book in a down to earth, easy to understand way so that it will appeal to teenagers and adults of all age's. The way the author describes people's images, characters, scenary, and different place's are easy to imagine. She is able to emerse the reader deeply into the book, that the reader will believe they are actually there, scensing the excitement and adventure of the story through her words.
