About the Author

Meet Howard Vollmer. He was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. After marrying his wife Velma he graduated from Hamlin University and began teaching art in the St. Paul School District. He taught inner city Junior High School for 31 years when he retired and he and Velma moved north to Hibbing, Minnesota in 1987. This is where the idea for “The Adventures of the Chipmunks Three” was born as they enjoyed all of the creatures that surrounded them. In 1996 they moved to Florence, Arizona which is when Howard began writing this book. Howard also hand painted every illustration. Many children and adults alike have enjoyed this book so he now wants to share it with everyone. He truly hopes you enjoy this story. Thank you.
