I remember being born but, more importantly a time before I came.We always have a loving presence with us, before our souls make the journey to the body we have chosen to live in, this time around. I knew I had taken a leading part in the kind of life I would experience, and that it would be for my greater good. I also knew that there would be variations of the theme, in which I hadn't. It was these that had me in a state of tension.
I remember the bright lights of the room in which I was born,a and the smell of the anaesthetic. I had been delivered with the help of forceps, and it had been a protracted labour for my mother. I could sense the irritation of the midwife as she wrapped me in a shawl but it was when I was placed in my mother's arms that I realised it wasn't going to be an easy life.
"My mother should have been a movie star;
Instead, she travelled to Australia,
Wher her man Did her Wrong;
Very, very wrong.
It si nigth time; and themen are cloaked in their kangaroo skins,
Floating on paper bark rafts, seeking crocodiles.
They're alert for bubbles,
And their silent laughter.
Crocodiles.
So it was with my mother;
Crocodiles in her life, endlessly.
Crocodiles haunting my dreams;
Aboriginals my kith and kin.
On, and on, and on.
My mother should have been a movie star.
There were things that had happened, before I was born, so in was to learn that every thought we make, every step we take, everything we do has an effect on us and, consequently on our relationships.

About the Book
From the most ancient of days, those who came before have been attempting to understand what it is to be a human being, and what we are doing here, on Planet Earth.
Whatever "we" are, surrounded by flesh and bone, comes to the World with an intention and a script but how is it that we find those who will join in this cosmic theatre either in love, or in war? Somewhere, among all the mythology, lies the truth of the matter.
This was my first question, to my father: "What is War?" His reply was: "War is Hell." So is Love, sometimes, when we fall into it.
About the Author
"My mother's name was given to me,backwards, which probably explains a lot. They were not a happy couple, and I've had a lot of unravelling to do," says Audrey.
"In attempting to look at Life from many different sides, and aspects of Love, every experience has brought something to light. From farming, to innkeeping, to teaching, to being drawn to healing, reading the Tarot cards, Astrology and Numerology, there has been a pattern. My hope is, it is in line with the web woven by the Fates & my Self, and that I've done more unravelling than ravelling."
