Broken Promises
I said I'd take
This man to be mine
For better or worse,
Through all times.
You said you'd cherish
Me every day
To love and honour
With me you'd stay.
But through the years
Of heartache and pain
We've grown apart
What a shame.
Our deepest thoughts
We cannot share
The trust is broken
We hardly care.
To live in limbo
I cannot do
I want more
And so do you.
Is it really over?
Are we done?
I'm kinda happy,
I'm free to run

About the Book
Marriage is hard. Many emotions come out when you share your life with someone.
Not all of them are good. This book talks about my feelings about marriage, good and bad. I feel that anything can be worked out. But it won't always be easy. And you won't always be willing to put in the effort.

I created this book as my personal way of venting or coping with my life. Emotions run high. I'm sure a lot of you readers will understand at least some of my poetry.
My name is Sue Reimer. I married when I was 17 years old. In July 2009 we celebrated our 21st anniversary. We have 2 children, ages 16 and 18. There have been many ups and downs, and I know there will be more. That's just how life is. Make the most of every day.
