The book includes the personal recollections of the author and his father who was the General Manager and where they lived at Southport's famous Palladium/ Gaumont/ Odeon

About the Author

Keith M.Lloyd was raised in Southport on the North West Coast of England and lived his informative years at the theatre, the subject of this book, meeting and experiencing life in the heady world of showbusiness. He later went on to follow in his father's footsteps as a Cinema Manager, before settling into a long career with the Police Forces of Lancashire and Merseyside until his retirement in 2000, gaining Long Service tributes and commendations along the way.

He is Married with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren and has held a senior voluntary position with St. John Ambulance,mentoring the young people, for which he received an award from Her Majesty the Queen.
