About the Book
A group of Canadian Wariors came down from Canada and by the threat of force took over a girls camp in the Adirondack Mountains, owned by New York State. They called it Ganiekeh their new State. They claimed 9,000 acres of upper New York State and all of Vermont and would not allow the law to be enforced on their newly acquired property. After a nine year old girl and two local youths were shot, the State relocated the Indians onto thousands of acres by the Canadian border. The Warriors claimed that they were reposessing the land that had been stolen from them by the White Man.
