Together Hal and Ally turned to see where the stranger pointed his gun. "You gotta be kidding" Ally's voice was almost a croaky whisper and turned to look at Hal hoping he would back him up.
"Yer kidding I'm not doing that" Hal's voice rose to a scream. "OK, I'll shoot you now", at the same time the stranger reached inside his coat
When the stanger was satisfied that the brothers were where he wanted them, hanging by their ankles from the protruding bar, high up the lamp post without their pants
Seeing their intentions Mr Gould sprung into action. They were torn between thinking up an excuse why they were trying to get into the grounds or make a run for it.
Daisy loved the new look it gave Max, sort of rugged and very much in keeping with his build. Added to which his new spectacles gave him a more gentle, thoughtful look.
Sid stood with Daisy at the alter, with Max and the young gardener at his side.
Sid had become aware throughout the service that he could feel the strange but familiar trickling down his leg.
Outside the church a police car parked. One of the cops was busy directing traffic away from the church as another stood bye the imposing doors.
"it looks like they slipped on something and it's broken legs all round"
Before the Pastor could reach for the emergence bell, the rope, holding the organists leg snapped. Depositing him fairly and squarely onto the prostrate pastor.
The brothers had no interest in golf they had a much more lucrative reason for being there.Too pass the time away between gathering information about Sid Romano and boredom, they cased the course office.
The commotion began to attract to attract the crowd following the plauers.
No one could understand why the man did not want to be saved. His face contorted with rage, so much so that a whisper went round that it was a suicide attempt.
Dr Manna was begining to find this hard work. "When you were in hospital" he paused again "were you thin and when you came out were you much bigger?"
all was quiet outside the room, he continued to rummage until he found what he was looking for.
"Got a name?" The male nurse asked. "Sure Andrew, Ally, found balmy on a golf course" Hal replied
Hal waited until the male nurse was out of sight and tiptoed down the passage.
As Hal stepped into the ward all hell let loose as nurses, male nurses, appeared from various directions and made their way towards Hal.
The elephant's and horses came and went. In between the acts, the clown's made their appearance, throwing buckets of coloured paper at the crowds
Before Angelica could do anything, the ringmaster grabbed Sid's shoulder and almost bodily pulled him into the ring.
Before anyone could stop what was happening, off the bike went, with Sid clinging on for dearlife. There was nothing for it; he would have to go after him.
Suddenly a howl split the cold air, followed by shouts of anger.
There the large tent lay; underneath they could see figures moving at a frantic pace
"you gotta see this" Puzzled Angelica and Sid junior moved towards the voice. "Take a look, you could'nt plan this":
Amiee laughed in a way that he remembered so well.
"Before I tell you anything, you must keep it to yourself" her voice had taken on an urgent note.
Quite by chance she had invested in a company, which brought her into contact with Angelica.

About the Book
'Slick Sid 11' follows the progress of Sid Romano after his retirement from the world of bodybuilders. Now firmly settled in their new home he turns his attention to other pursuits with familiar results. Max, now married to the Romano's housekeeper, takes on the role of protector, rather than aggressor. Rescueing Sid from a series of mishaps and enlisting help from old friends in dealing with Mr Silva's henchmen. In particular the mad brothers, Hal and Ally. Just as Sid junior, the eldest of the Romano children, shows surprising maturity. Joseph however displays all the traits of his father, before his entry into the bodybuilding curcuit. Sid senior remains his usual aimable self and oblivious to the chaos he leaves behind him. Mr Silva, now fleeing from the IRS joins the mad brother in Boston. But, things do not go well.
Just as Sid has a tendancy to failure, his wife Angelica, on the other hand, sees her business grow. She is now ready to amalgamate with a number of other companies and enter into the global market. With Sid junior by her side the new company is born and plans for a celebratory party made. With the party in full swing Sid senior hears a womans voice which takes him back in time to San Diego. The penny dropped for Sid but not for Max. The womans walk is familia, but where does he know her from?
About the Author
Simone has grown in confidence since writing the first 'Slick Sid' book. Her writing tipifies her humor and none of this is lost in 'Slick Sid 11'. Of us who have read her first book we cannot wait to see how she deals with the twists and turns that surrounds the life of Sid. Being older than many writers she seems to have captured snapshots from various situations thoughout her life. Not all her life was filled with laughter but even in the duller of days she could see the funny side. It is this that we feel has given her a better feel for humor when people are at a low ebb.
In Slick Sid 1 Simone wrote in a style that enables those who suffer from Dyslexia to find it easier to read. Therefore, chose to include many spelling and grammer errors. The message being that if she can do this, so can you. It also aimed at helping suffers by using words that are spelt as they are spoken. In Slick Sid 11 the style of writing remains the same but both the grammer and spelling corrected in order to reinforce this message.
