Vicky, our heroine, takes a much needed holiday to the Isle of Wight. On her way to her digs she has an acutely embarrassing encounter with a very handsome hunk in a supermarket restaurant. The next day whilst she is sight-seeing, she meets Harry, a sweet old man, who is sat in a deckchair in the garden of an old derelict house. He tells her the story of his life and love which has her in tears.

About the Book
'Memories are made of Love' is dedicated to Win and Bob Coward who were my friends for over twenty years, and on whom the characters of Harry and Sarah are based. It was whilst I was on holiday on the Isle of Wight , fifteen years after his death, that I had a vision of Bob near an old derelicted house. This inspired me to write 'Memories are made of Love'. It is really two love stories in one.

Many thanks to Josh Heydon for his valuable assistance and to my friend Mary Murray who proof read for me and afforded some very constructive criticism. About the Author
Linda Dowsett was born in Bath but now lives with Gordon, her husband of almost forty years, in Southwick in Wiltshire. They have five children and eighteen grandchildren. Linda has been writing poetry for many years and has had poetry published under the pen name of Christine Linden. She only started writing romantic novels after her retirement in 2006 and cannot believe that one can become so involved with the characters of the heroes and heroines and also the plots of the stories. They really come alive and seem so real in one's mind. Linda hopes you enjoy reading her books as much as she enjoys writing them. When Linda is not writing books she enjoys cooking, sewing, line dancing and appearing in pantomime at the local Southwick Entertainers group .
